Commissions
A commissioned herd is made for you and you choose a glaze you like. Most pieces take six to eight weeks from first conversation to finished work. Commissions start from £575 plus postage and packaging.
NB: If time is of the essence I do have an option for you to choose an already bisque fired sculpture and choose a glaze and this can be finished and sent to you in 2 weeks. (Please contact me for details)
01 Tell me what you have in mind
The size, the setting it will live in, and the colours you are drawn to. Photographs of the room help more than anything.
02 A proposal and a price
I'll come back with what I'd make and what it would cost, before anything is started.
03 Making
Handbuilding takes one week approximately, 2 weeks of drying, bisque fire, glazing and a final kiln firing.
04 Delivery
Delivered by hand locally, or packed and sent by courier.
Glazes
A herd can be made in any of the glazes Louise works with.
